Sound Meter - Audio Analyzer ("Sound Meter", "the app") is developed by BMIT MOB, LLC. The app does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics.
The app uses the microphone only to measure sound levels and frequencies in real time. Audio is processed on your device and is never recorded, stored or transmitted. Only numeric results (for example decibel levels and frequencies) are saved, and only when you save a measurement session.
Saved sessions, notes, calibration settings and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone and are included in your device backups. You can delete sessions at any time. Exported files (PDF, CSV, PNG) are shared only where you choose to send them.
If you enable the noise monitor, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No data is sent to a server.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information.
The app contacts Apple's App Store services for purchases and the public iTunes lookup service to show our other apps. No personal information is sent.
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
